ADI Foundation is the producer the Spanish Culture Festival
named “Dias de Flamenco” every year around March, that takes
place mainly in the Susan Dellal center in Tel-Aviv and in several other
performing centers around the country. The foundation is also the organizer
of the Israeli Flamenco Competition, which first prize is a flamenco
course in Spain. Many of our winners and contestants are studying and
performing Flamenco in Israel and Spain these days.
In our first years Cristina Hoyos, the known Flamenco
dancer, contributed to the level and spirit of these events by being
a judge and performing. The Adi Foundation established many contacts
in Spain, especially with the Cristina Heeren Foundation -
a Flamenco academy in Seville with which we collaborate in stipends
for dancers and musicians. The Flamenco review newspaper, Alma100, covers
the “Dias de Flamenco” events.
